Founders
The Contemporary – Art High School Tuzla is established based on the free will of Founders and in accordance with the Framework Law on Secondary Education and Upbringing in Tuzla Canton.
The idea for school establishment has risen from the results of internal work analysis of the Association of Youth Theater Tuzla and the Association Youth of Tuzla. From 2018 to 2020, the two-year, systematic analysis and research was conducted by the Association of Youth Theater Tuzla and the Association Youth of Tuzla. This served the purpose of finding the reasoning behind the establishment of an innovative school. Many actions were undertaken including interviewing parents and students on the topic, having various consultations regarding law and legal notions, art, and pedagogy with educational institutions of Tuzla Canton, together with many other institutions, associations, foundations, and individuals who work in the field of education, upbringing, culture and art in the region.
Based on the gathered data, the study was written and it included the socio-economical reasoning for school establishment which was accepted on the Annual Meeting of the Association of Youth Theater Tuzla on the 26th of May, 2020, and the Annual Meeting of the Association Youth of Tuzla on the 29th of May, 2020. The agreement regarding the study and the Decision for school establishment was also given by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton on the 28th of July, 2020.
